Javier leads Oliver Wyman’s global Communications, Media & Technology (CMT) business. During his career, Javier has consulted to some of the leading telecommunications companies in the world across Europe, the United States, Asia, the Middle East and Latin America. He’s advised C-level executives on a wide range of topics, including corporate strategy and organization, sales and marketing, and M&A activities.  In particular, he’s focused on developing and implementing marketing strategies and aligning value propositions, organization, and processes between fixed and mobile operations.

Javier joined Oliver Wyman in 2006 through the acquisition of the telecommunications strategy practice of DiamondCluster, which he led for ten years. Prior to DiamondCluster, he was a senior partner in Cluster while it was an independent firm and, prior to that, worked in the MAC Group of Gemini Consulting and Hewlett-Packard.

Javier, an industrial engineer and MBA, attended IESE and the Rotterdam School of Management. He speaks Spanish, English, and Portuguese.
